Henney and Henley climbing up Star Apple tree to perch for the night.
These Red Star hens were flown in about 2 years ago from Hawai’i when they were chickies in a crate full of chickies to provide lots of fresh eggs at the family farm.
We brought Henney and Henley home for the chicken tractor in our backyard garden and for fresh eggs.
My 5 lil’ piranhas, date of hatch 10-25-2012.
Brought them home from the family farm to care for and protect until old enough to avoid predators. Come eating time, roosters have no chance against these 5 lil’ piranhas and their piranha style feeding frenzy.
My babies Daffy and Taffy 08-21-2012 cuteness!

The Coconut Crab, also known as the Robber Crab and locally known as ayuyu, the Coconut Crab is a nocturnal creature feeding on a variety of plant matter found in the jungle and coastline areas. A local favorite dish, it is boiled with fresh coconut juice, water, salt, pepper or cooked then stir fried with miso paste. A good tasting crab dish!
