The defense budget needs to be cut and the size of the military, reduced. Billions go to defense contractors and the Army and Marine Corps has doubled in size. Pulling the bulk of the troops from Afghanistan will help lessen the 10 billion monthly expense and save American lives.
It’s about time Afghanistan stands on its own.
